What Does Herpes Look Like On Testicals

COPPELIA IN NEW YORK

My grandfather had said: "No dress do not go to dance."

Because, for a Cuban to go to Coppelia ice cream stands. And if this Coppelia is one of the world's largest cities, at least that Cubans can expect is the variety of 50 flavors, which opened in Havana Coppelia L and 23 in the sixties.

After reading the blog Penúltimosdías a Coppelia opened in Manhattan, and there we start the graphic designer Rolando Pulido, my alterego and I enjoy ice cream and take a look at the place. I tell them.

While some Cuban flags as decoration detail almost welcome to enter the premises, the longing that motivated us to get there evaporated to read the menu.

Among Tray Paisa, Switzerland Salad, Nachos and Tacos, and Mofungo Shrimps find a Ropa Vieja or Stuffed Potato. Of the 50 flavors of ice cream that made us salivate, only about three or four made there, such as avocado ice cream for example. The reality is that this Coppelia is a Latin American restaurant that has nothing to do with our famous ice cream, despite the banal elements of decoration related to our country.

talked to Luis, a young Mexican who told us that it was associated with Cuban Beatriz de Armas in this adventure of Coppelia New York . Why the name of the ice cream? We asked. Luis spoke

counter with the sidewalk cafes so popular in the fifties of last century. Luis never visited Havana to see that these sidewalks on the island if not extinct are about (do not know what is the status of Coppelia today), and that these symbols do not represent anything Cuban, if swarmed in Cuba was marked more by the influence of American modernity had before 1959.

However, if we ignore for a few seconds, the name of the restaurant, I assure you that the experience worthwhile. The preparation of fine dining. Rolando elected Frita Cubana one, though that was not found in fried Cuban Miami in each corner, was very tasty although it was accompanied by ladybugs fried yucca.

I ordered Mango Tres Leches, who stayed on the road between Tres Leches and a fruit smoothie. However, I met my companions.

The waiters, very friendly and industrious. Perhaps because it was six in the afternoon and a few guests for this hour in a restaurant opened its third day, it seemed too much in relation with customers. Background music, high enough to be "Background", a sauce that hurt my eardrums and I tried several times to take off without result.

I think this new restaurant is going to do very well. A cozy eclectic decor, quality, variety and creativity in the production of food and a wonderful location at the busy 14th Street between Seventh and Eighth avenues.

But Coppelia use the name for a restaurant in this city of restaurants is like spending accurate cartridges, or those darts accurate if the New York Coppelia had been an ice cream parlor feel as good Cuban raised among Salads, Twins, Sunday, Banana Split and Turquino.

fear that a clueless tourist after having passed through here one day come to Havana and, "without taking off the dusty road, go straight to Coppelia and asked a waitress about Arepas Pavilion. The least that will be an eye revirón with the click produces a "fried egg" in the mouth.

The New York Coppelia as much as we recalled to Cuba was the bathroom.
