Plácido Domingo proved once again why he is one of greatest tenors.
The concert "From my Latin soul" held on April 17, the teacher won all present to the best himself, in what was a historic celebration of its debut in Puerto Rico 40 years ago.
He wanted to be sure to offer a show worthy of this celebration, and he succeeded.
The teacher was accompanied by the Puerto Rico Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Alondra de la Parra, along with Puerto Rican soprano Ana Maria Martinez, the English dancer Nuria Pomares, and the young singer Ana Isabelle.
played tenor opera classics, superbly assisted by Ana Maria Martinez, who alternated in their interpretations. Between parts are presented with castanets Nuria Pomares flamenco dancing in running hand.

Energetic and highly concentrated, was grateful for the constant displays of affection of Puerto Ricans.
In the first half of the recital was offered a repertoire composed operettas and songs.
In the second half included tango and mariachi, where Domingo surprised when performing Mexican composer José Alfredo Jiménez. He also delighted the audience with songs like "My Buenos Aires querido, Cuesta abajo, Half Light and Her." And the event closed with a brooch gold pieces such as "Granada, Fire Dance, Calla lip, I remember you, Swear" and the farewell to "borincano sorry."
