Plácido Domingo offer a concert in Finland on August 24 at the Hartwall Arena of Helsinki.
The tenor Placido Domingo, legendary artist and a great active life even at 70 years, this year will offer a series of concerts around the world. The concert in Finland is the only one offered in northern Europe.
In statements given by the tenor, Domingo expressed his happiness for his next performance, " any musician knows that Finland is one of the best countries in the world for the importance of music education in their schools .
This concert is a great opportunity to again enjoy the incredibly powerful and velvety voice that still resounds in all its intensity.
The concert will consist of a selection of arias and duets from opera, operetta, zarzuela and more entertainment pieces.
The concert, with the "Lohja City Orchestra" will be conducted by Maestro Eugene Kohn, a regular attendant of the wording in this series of concerts, and the brilliant soprano Virginia Argentina Tola.
On stage may also enjoy Polyteknikkojen Kuoro.
